Workshop on Combinatorial Compounding & Formulation - DKI Darmstadt
September 10th, 2007 - September 11th, 2007
The implementation of combinatorial and high-throughput approaches in polymer science has tremendously accelerated the research and development of new materials.
Traditionally, the DPI workshops provide an overview of the current status as well as emerging technologies in combinatorial and high-throughput experimentation. This year, the
use of combinatorial compounding will be highlighted as emerging technology in the field of polymer formulation.
On the occasion of this 6th DPI workshop "combinatorial and high-throughput approaches in polymer science", internationally renowned speakers from both academia and industry will
discuss the current state-of-the-art and recent breakthroughs in combinatorial and highthroughput experimentation in polymer science.
These contributions will cover the whole highthroughput experimentation workflow including design of experiments, compound preparation by classic and combinatorial methods, in-line
testing, and data handling. To further stimulate discussions and exchange of knowledge, hands-on demonstrations and explanations of the state-of-the-art equipment in the DKI high-throughput experimentation facilities will be given by daily users.
