DYFP2012

April 1st, 2012 - April 5th, 2012

The 15th International Conference on Deformation, Yield and Fracture of Polymers will take place in Rolduc Abbey, Kerkrade, the Netherlands from 1-5 April 2012 (http://www.dyfp2012.tue.nl/). This tri-annual conference, generally referred to as the "Churchill" conference, has been established as the leading conference on its subject worldwide.

The 2012 conference reviews developments and identifies trends in the scientific understanding of deformation, yield and fracture of polymeric materials. Selected topics include:

  • Gels and Networks
  • Deformation and Thermodynamics of Glasses
  • Nanocomposite Structure and Mechanics
  • Molecular Modeling of Deformation Processes
  • Nanomechanics and Nanoindentation
  • Surfaces and Interfaces
  • Fracture, Fatigue and Durability
  • Mechanics of Rubber
  • Orientation in polymers: Cause and consequence
  • Polymer systems with unique properties

Authors wishing to contribute to DYFP2012 are invited to send a one-page abstract to by October 14th 2011. The authors will receive notification of acceptance of their proposed contribution by November 14th 2011.
