Invitation Kick-off TKI Smart Polymeric Materials

4 September 2012

Together with DPI Value Centre and Food & Biobased Research (FBR), DPI has founded the 'TKI Smart Polymeric Materials' (TKI SPM).

Last year the Dutch government launched a new policy to invest in knowledge and innovation called 'Topsector Policy'. As a result, public-private partnerships have been asked to restructure into 'Topconsortia voor Kennis en Innovatie' (TKIs) and subsidies will be rechanneled.

In practice, not much changes for DPI and its organisation are foreseen in the near future.

The TKI SPM will work on:
- Maximise synergy between the programmes of DPI, DPI Value Centre and FBR.
- Incorporate new funding mechanisms for the future in order to boost R&D and Innovation in Polymers and Plastics

On Tuesday 9 October the TKI Smart Polymeric Materials and the three other TKIs in the chemistry sector will be launched. Click here to view the full invitation for this event (in Dutch).
