DPI is looking for an inspirational and decisive leader to take up the position of Managing Director. Your challenge will be to position DPI nationally and internationally as a unique collaboration platform and to ensure the continued success of DPI by developing and executing a sustainable growth strategy.
You are fully familiar with current developments in the market, maintain active contacts with a variety of stakeholders and have the sense of purpose and drive to represent DPI nationally and internationally in different networks. You are committed to promoting collaborative research and will pursue a resourceful strategy to attract new industrial and academic partners internationally.
The successful candidate will lead a team of committed professionals at the DPI office in Eindhoven and will head DPI’s management team. You will ensure an efficient and effective organisation, in which team members work on their personal development to keep pace with the demands of a changing business environment and are committed to achieving DPI’s set goals.
You will be reporting to the Supervisory Board of DPI.
In order to be successful in this position, you must have experience in a senior management position in an industrial setting, as well proven leadership qualities and vision. You have an understanding of chemistry, materials science and chemical technology. Familiarity with the workings of government agencies and subsidy schemes are an important asset in your job. Entrepreneurship, situational awareness and international orientation are second nature to you. You are used to working to challenging targets and to being held accountable for these. Your personal circumstances allow you to travel regularly in connection with your job. You have a good command of spoken en written English.
