The Royal Institute of Engineers KIVI NIRIA awards the Speurwerk Prijs 2010 to Professor Rene Janssen. He is a professor at the faculty of chemical engineering and chemistry at the Eindhoven University of Technology. In addition, he has three projects in the Joint Solar Programme (JSP). Janssen receives the prize for his many pioneering contributions in the field of polymer solar cells, better known as plastic solar cells over a wide range of specialties.
